Intensive IWB Training Program 2008 - IWBs Support and Extend Good Teaching
PracticeAre you a primary school teacher interested in joining an ever
growing group of teachers who are revolutionizing the way in which students
learn in their classrooms? Develop your IWB skills to provide your students with
the fantastic educational opportunities that IWBs bring to the teaching and
learning process.
Even though the examples used in the training program are built around the
primary KLAs we believe secondary teachers would get a great deal out of the
program because there is a focus on good teaching practice and IWB
skills/functions. Teachers highly skilled in the application of IWBs in the
classroom deliver IWBNet's high quality face to face, hands-on training. These
teachers are acknowledged by their peers for their contribution to the evolution
of IWB literacy in the classroom.
On completion of the training you will have gained the specific training to
use IWBs skilfully, proficiently and imaginatively in the classroom.
Please note that lesson plans and samples will be showcased and supplied in
three formats; SMART Notebook™ collaborative learning software, Activ Software
and a third version suitable for all other boards including but not limited to
Hitachi, Interwrite, Teamboards, 2Touch, AV Media Board, mimio, Onfinity and
