Description: This will be a show and tell session where Helen and Julie share their journey and the resources they have developed in their first twelve months working with the IWB. In SOSE units developed in middle school mixed ability classes, examples will be provided of how to use the IWB for explicit teaching of concepts, discussion starters, links to other ICTs, research assignments and ideas of how to use the IWB to improve the quality of student work.
