PBS

http://www.pbs.org/teachers

The US Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) has created a new website particularly for use by teachers. As many will be aware, PBS is one of the higher profile commentators on all facets of US society. Called simply PBS Teachers, the site has interactive multimedia materials for all areas of the curriculum, plus the neat facility to customise material for class use. The materials and in particular the Flash files, are ideal for IWB use.

This would be appropriate for schools who have just installed IWBs or when wishing to renew staff enthusiasm for renewed training. This will focus on digital and already existing personnel resources a school already has or can have easy access to, in order to increase staff confidence and ability to experiment further with using IWBs in good teaching practice.
