Theme: Raising standards and teaching better with digital technology: to enhance teaching and learning

IWBNet invites you to attend the Third National ITL Masterclass Conference to be held at Novotel Brighton Beach Sydney on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 June 2013.

At this conference delegates reflect on what makes high quality teaching practice and how the use of interactive digital technology in the classroom can boost what a good teacher can achieve in his/her teaching.

Delegates participate in:

One Cohort Session, an extended session of 4 time blocks totalling 5.5 hours over two days. Prior to the conference, delegates choose one topic of interest only, from several available topics (see topics below). Participants who choose the same topic form a cohort and work together to discuss and reflect on the topic for the duration of the Cohort Session. Each Cohort Session topic will be led and facilitated by a talented hand picked Australian educator, each considered by their peers to be the ‘cream of the crop” in terms of their educational and classroom practice and the high quality manner in which they embed digital technology into their teaching and learning practice.

Informal Showcase Sessions lead by the participants themselves. These sessions allow delegates to showcase and share with
their colleagues in short 10 minute timeslots, their best practice teaching with interactive digital technology.

Pre-prepared Sessions chosen from a wide range of 60 minute sessions offered by experienced teachers. The sessions will be run as either, presentations and/or hands-on workshops. Some vendor sessions will also be offered.
